Sleater-Kinney Chicago Concert reviews
Blue Man Group New York - Excellent
"We booked the Sleater-Kinney in New York, not really knowing what to expect. The only thing we knew about was the paint on drums that they do.
There was an amazing interaction between the performers, and during the show, they got the audience involved by getting 2 people up on stage.
While it was a very good night out, I wouldn't recommend taking young children to the show as I don't think they'd appreciate the performance. It's not an adults-only show.
Only slight downside is that we went to the evening show after a day sightseeing round the city, and there was nowhere to leave the backpacks (we were sitting in the front row (Poncho Area)). We were concerned about the bags getting covered in the same stuff we expected to get covered in. We blagged an extra poncho so we could put the bags in. Turns out we didn't need it as the audience didn't get that splattered with stuff, but just be aware that it can be a messy experience for the first few rows. So don't go out in your Sunday best outfit like you'd go to a normal theatre show."
